Women In Culture – Museum Week 2019

Happy museum week everybody Today it is women in culture So what my women in culture video is is actually a compilation Video of clips that I collected over the last couple of weeks From all these women and culture from all over the world and it started back in April where I was campaigning tirelessly On my socials. I was contacting friends from high school And what I said is if you are a woman in culture or identifying as a woman in culture, and you will have time Please send me a ten second clip of you doing what you’re doing Highlighting what you are uh, what you are in the field And then I want you to say I am a woman in culture. About a week later I started getting email after email and I got over 35 submissions of women from all over the world stating loud and proud and they were women in culture. And let me tell you, these clips made me cry. You guys did such an amazing job with sending them in, you’ve got so creative, you put so much passion and effort into these videos, and I just could not believe how supportive and amazing that our community is. It was just so nice to see women from all over the world, and every time I opened up a new clip submission… It just made my heart burst and it was a very emotional experience editing these clips together and just seeing all of your clips and what you are doing in the world and how happy it makes you made me so happy. 1. You had me at "I'm writing a history of what happened to paganism in North Africa after the emperor Constantine converted to Christianity".

  2. Seeing all these clips, made me so emotional <3 Thank you so much! You have no idea how awesome is watching this!

  3. I love it! ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’— few days ago I gave a conference in which I talked about how many women have been using technology and social networks to spread the culture and with this video I reaffirm what I said: women are taking culture very seriously and we are participating more and more!

  4. I'm one of the MuseumWeek coordinators, I'm a Brazilian museologist. I only use YouTube as a source of information, but I wanted to say that I loved this video and that I'll share it in my social medias. I've also subscribed to your channel!
