These women were held hostage. They (people paid by the government to create conflict) took their clothes off, whipped them, threw rocks at them and nobody said anything. We ran as fast as we could. Our bus drivers had to run too. People stayed behind. Thank God there were trailers on the road that could help us. God knows what would have happened to us if we had been caught too. The police arrived later, thank God. Who knows what would have happened otherwise. “Who financed this act of vandalism at VillaVilla?” The governor of Oruro who supports Evo Morales, through orders of our dictator president Evo Morales. This person does not value human life. They were going to kill us. Returning back to Oruro, we were also ambushed. Thank God, the resistance in Oruro was there to defend us. This government wanted to kill this caravan. There’s no doubt about that. “Are all women from the group here? Did they do anything else to your group?” The girls that were in the buses who were trapped were…unfortunately tried to be sexually abused, thank God they were able to escape but two girls were kidnapped and kept hostage. Until now we don’t know what happened to them. They are at a clinic. All hostages are at the hospital but they won’t let us see them. We don’t know their situation. We don’t know how they are. We ask all Bolivia to unify. All departments, please don’t abandon us. Let’s unify. This is not a president. THIS IS A MURDERER. HE DOESN’T CARE ABOUT HUMAN LIFE. We are all Bolivians. I urge the military forces: this is our country! This is our homeland. Our homeland is its people! Not a person who wants to stay in power He is a murderer. He wanted to kill this entire caravan. He wanted to destroy us. They ambushed us from both sides. How can a farmer have teargas? HOW?
