REACTION. REPORTER: WELL, ALLISON, WE’RE NOT EVEN SURE IF THE MAN IN THE PHOTO IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE UNIVERSITY. BUT WHAT WE DO KNOW IS IT HAS A LOT OF PEOPLE TALKING IN FAYETTE, INCLUDING CHANCELLOR JOSEPH STEINMETS. HE SHARED THIS ON TWITTER, SAYING, QUOTE, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION ARE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS VALUES, NOT THIS. WE VALUE FREE SPEECH BUT CONDE HATRED, VIOLENCE AND WHITE SUPREMACY. HASHTAG #CHARLOTTESVILLE. THIS COMING WEEK IS MOVING WEEK AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS. WHILE MANY ARE GEARING UP FOR THAT, ONE STUDENT I SPOKE WITH SAID HE’S SHOCKED AND DISAPPOINTED THAT HIS SCHOOL IS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS TRAGEDY.>>I’M STUDYING COMPUTER ENGINEERING. ESPECIALLY DIVERSITY AND DIFFERENT POINTS OF VIEW ARE THE MOST VALUABLE THINGS THERE ARE AND PEOPLE SUPPORTING SOMETHING AGAINST THAT, I JUST DON’T LIKE IT. I DON’T WANT TO BE A PART OF THAT REPORTER: AND ONCE AGAIN, WE DON’T KNOW AT THIS POINT IF THE MAN IN THE PHOTO IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE UNIVERSITY. BUT AS WE LEARN MORE INFORMATION, WE’LL BRING IT TO YOU.
