Team Volunteering Day – Plastic Free Notting Hill

though I'm Alistair I work in the RB KC communications team and today I'm here with my team cleaning up the canal litter picking picking up cigarette butts and generally just making the area a bit nicer for people who live and pass through this area so a plastic free nothing here we have two goals one is to make sure that people understand the damages of single-use plastic and educate them and so that they use less and the other one is you go and clean up look what we've got here we've got Heineken bottles I've got water newspapers so as well as my own team getting a lot out of this and getting out in the community I think I hope the community gets a lot out of it it's important that council workers have a connection with where they perform their jobs thinking about volunteering come down a bit chat just go for yourself that volunteering truly is for everyone you
