Roger Stone: Bannon committed ‘stunning act of betrayal’

MOVEMENT. WE TOOK A PAUSE TO TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AND WHAT WE FOUND THIS INTERESTING, AND WE’VE GOT IT. JUST AHEAD. AHEAD. A MAN WHO JUST MONTHS AGO WAS SEEN AS ONE OF HIS CLOSEST ALLIES AND ADVISORS. YESTERDAY, TRUMP SAID THAT WHITE HOUSE BACK IN AUGUST. NOW THE PRESIDENT ISSUING LEGAL THREATS AGAINST BANNON. BANNON GOT A LETTER THREATENING A LAWSUIT FOR ALLEGED VIOLATIONS OF A CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT HE ALLEGEDLY SIGNED. WHAT TO MAKE OF ALL OF THIS? WHITE HOUSE, VERY FEW ARE. THIS ONE ACTUALLY IS. HE HAS BEEN ADVISING TRUMP FOR MORE THAN THREE DECADES. HE WAS CAMPAIGN MANAGER OF HIS URGE THE PRESIDENT TO RUN FOR OFFICE THIS TIME, AND HE SERVED ON THE CAMPAIGN DURING ITS CRITICAL EARLY MONTHS. AND CALLED HIM A STONE HAD BEEN CALLED LOSER, BUT THEIR ROGER, THANKS FOR COMING ON.>>THANK YOU, TUCKER.>>Tucker: SO WHAT IS THIS FUNDAMENTALLY ABOUT. FROM AN OUTSIDERS PERSPECTIVE, IT APPEARS TO BE A DEBATE ABOUT WHO CAN TAKE CREDIT FOR THE UNEXPECTED WIN IN 2016 2016. STEVE BANNON HAS TAKEN CREDIT FOR THAT. THE PRESIDENT BELIEVES HE DID IT THE PRESIDENT BELIEVES HE DID I IT. TO WHAT EXTENT DID BANNON CONTRIBUTE TO THE VICTORY?>>WELL, I WANTED TO GIVE STEVE BANNON THE CREDIT BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT, PARTICULARLY GIVEN THE REPUTATION OF MICHAEL WOLFF, THE REPUTATION OF MICHAEL WOLFFB THE REPUTATION OF MICHAEL WOLFFT GIVEN THE COMMENTS THAT ACT OF BETRAYAL, AND IT IS ALSO A COMPLETE MISUNDERSTANDING OF DONALD TRUMP. AND IN DONALD TRUMP’S WORLD, I AND IN DONALD TRUMP’S WORLD, N TRUMP WORLD, THERE IS NO KARL ROVE. DONALD TRUMP IS VERY MUCH HIS OWN WORLD. HIS HIS OWN MAN, HIS OWN STRATEGIST, HIS OWN SPEECHWRITER, HIS OWN PRESS GREATEST SINGLE SALESMAN IN AMERICAN HISTORY. AND THE PRESIDENT’S AGENDA ON WHICH HE WAS ELECTED, I SHOULD SAY’S PLATFORM, WAS DETERMINED LONG BEFORE STEVE BANNON JOINED THE CAMPAIGN IT WAS DETERMINED ONE MAN, DONALD TRUMP. HE IS A PHENOMENA, A FORCE OF NATURE, BUT HE CANNOT BE HANDLED OR MANAGED, HE’S NOT A PUPPET, AND HE NEVER WILL BE.>>Tucker: BANNON ARGUES THAT HE PUT TRUMP’S IMPULSES WITHIN A FRAMEWORK THAT ALLOWED HIM TO ERECT. I KNEW BANNON FROM ANOTHER LIFE WHEN WE RAN RIVAL PUBLICATIONS. I CAN’T ASSESS HIS SKILL AS A POLITICAL STRATEGIST. IS HE A POLITICAL GENUS AND CAMPAIGNS ARE NO?>>I WOULD ARGUE IT IS DONALD TRUMP WAS A POLITICAL GENIUS. HERE IS SOMEBODY WHO OVERCAME ENORMOUS ODDS, MASSIVELY VICTORY AS IN AMERICAN POLITICAL HISTORY. NOW, THE TRUMP FIVE FOR WELL SETTLED ON LONG BEFORE STEVE BANNON JOINED THE CAMPAIGN STEVE BANNON JOINED THE CAMPAIG CAMPAIGN. AND IT APPEARS THAT STEPHEN MILLER HELPED THE PRESIDENT ARTICULATED. BUT THE AGENDA IS TRUMP, THE DRIVE TO WIN IS TRUMP. THE POPULIST CAMPAIGN IS ALL TRUMP. JUST TAKING THE TITLE OF CHIEF>>Tucker: . THE IDEA WAS THAT, AFTER THE THE WHITE HOUSE, THE REMINDER OF HE IS BEING ATTACKED. WHY IS THAT?>>FIRST OF ALL, THE MOVEMENT IS BIGGER THAN ANY ONE PERSON. I ASKED SIX PEOPLE ON THE WAY INTO THE FOX STUDIO HERE EVERY SINGLE ONE KNEW WHO DONALD TRUMP WAS AN EVERY SINGLE ONE KNEW ABOUT HIS EFFORTS TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. THEN YOU’LL GET TO THE SPECIFICS. NO, DONALD TRUMP JR.’S MEETING IMPROPER. STEVE IS NEITHER A LAWYER NOR AN EXPERIENCED POLITICAL STRATEGIST. THAT MEETING IS A NOTHING-BURGER. IT LOOKS MORE AND MORE LIKE A WAS IN THE COUNTRY ILLEGALLY AT SO I DON’T REALLY UNDERSTAND BUT WOULD MOTIVATE SAFE TO SAY THOSE THINGS WHEN IT IS THE PRESIDENT WHO HAS GIVEN HIM THE OPPORTUNITY FOR SERVICE. WELL, YOU COULD CHALK IT UP TO ANGER OVER BEING FIRED IF HE HAD MADE THESE COMMENTS AFTER HE WAS TERMINATED, BUT BASED ON MY RESEARCH, HE SAID THOSE THINGS PAYROLL.>>Tucker: FINALLY, WHY THE LEGAL THREATS? I DON’T THINK ANYONE BELIEVES THE PRESIDENT IS GOING TO SUE STEVE BANNON FOR VIOLATING AN NDA OR THE AUTHOR OF THIS BOOK. DOESN’T THIS JUST CALL ATTENTION TO THE BOOK, HELP SELL BOOKS? ISN’T IT DOWN TO THE BENEFIT OF THE AUTHOR? WHY WOULD YOU INSTRUCT YOUR LAWYERS TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT?>>I’M NOT SURE ABOUT THE EFFICACY. THE TRUMP BASE WILL STICK WITH DONALD TRUMP AS LONG AS HE KEEPS HISTORY. A SOLID CONSERVATIVE ON THE U.S. LEVELS. THAT IS THE TRUMP AGENDA.>>Tucker: I’M NOT SURE ABOUT

  1. Bannon lacks character. He wanted a little attention.
Steve has always come across as having a racist mindset. I was happy to see him fired long ago.
Steve Bannon was also a leaker at the White House. Willing to undermine and destroy. Never cared for the guy.

  2. As a Trump supporter, and an admirer (of sorts) of Bannon's "federalist-reformist-Patriots" POV, i can only assume all parties to this so-called "controversy" are in it for the face-saving publicity &/or the possible Media shell-game tactic of duping CNN/MSNBC in getting something else done in D.C…..quietly & in clandestine fashion.

And while i like Roger Stone for his loyalty to our POTUS, in re: to Stone's statement of Trump being a "Genius" re: the election chess-moves, my rebuttal would be: "i'm not sure about the efficacy of that." (See 5:30)

  3. Sorry, but Bannon didn't hire Nikki Haley after she attacked Trump and supported Obama, Trump did. Bannon didn't surround himself with Never Trumpers, Trump did. Bannon didn't indulge in nepotism, Trump did. Bannon didn't abandon Trump's base. Trump did. Trump is to his base what Obama was to his, a cruel hoax.

  4. Remember that Trump was often quoting the poem about the snake…. I think Bannon let this snake Wolff into the WH, the house of the US President… and now this snake has bitten, not Bannon, but he has bitten President Trump and his family members…

  5. bannon cost us the alabama seat bygoing after the republicans instead of the democrats he lost my respect then fuck bannon ….im a Trump supporter 1000%

  6. Maybe Steve Bannon, and Bernie Sanders should be room mates? Both will sell you out if enough money is thrown at their feet.

  7. He sums up a pathological narcissist in reference to Trump. In doing so he praises the narcissist. Stone may be the belly of the snake but he is not dumb.

  8. I voted for President Trump & his agenda, not some little follower named Bannon.  Bannon is the typical "I'm Important, just ask me" & he is a low life traitor that should find a hole to crawl in to.

  9. You mean Roger Stone who was by his own admission in contact with the hacker Guccifer 2.0 who stole the Clinton emails for the Russians?

  10. “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” (John Dalberg-Acton, 1st Baron Acton)

It is in human nature that the more power one desires the more corrupt actions one must do to attain it. In Shakespeare’s tragedy of Macbeth, a Scottish noble's craving for power leads him to do terrible deeds that leads to his demise. Shakespeare shows that power corrupts by using Macbeth who corrupts under the thought of have power over others. Macbeth becomes corrupt under the thought of becoming king and gaining almost complete control over the people that he rules. Macbeth wants the power badly enough to do horrible deeds such as commit regicide.

  11. Bannon just said what everyone else around trump says in private yet doesn't have the balls to say in public.

It is very telling that in order to bring in an "expert" on trump you have to have an insane person like Roger stone on the show

Two clowns on screen talking about two other clowns and which one wears the red nose…

  12. Roger Stone is a sycophantic piece of human detritus. Bannon is overrated and more interested in himself than Trump and without the Mercer's and Adelson is done. And Trump will not be getting re-elected. Accept it. He either won't seek re-election or resign (doubtful) or may end up getting impeached if the Democrats clean up in the midterns.

  13. Trump hires only the best !? All the Trumptards are throwing him under the bus all of a sudden. Maybe there is hope ? Now just throw Trump out and we'll be good.

  14. Treasonous to point out that Trump is a clown? Maybe patriotic…but too little too late. Bannon knew Trump was an idiot years ago.

  15. Like a bunch of rats jumping off a sinking ship. This includes all the so called GOP establishment in Congress who are suddenly retiring this next election cycle. I personally believe that many just can't stomach what the GOP has become under Trump and want out while their personal legacy is intact. Far too many Republicans have sold their soul to that tool of the Antichrist, Trump. I don't care what side of the aisle you are on only a blind fool couldn't see that our civil liberties are slowly being eroded. Our great AMERICAN institutions are being dismantled and the rule of law, for the very rich at least , totally ignored . Republicans once upon a time stood for law and order and a small government. At least they all claimed this as the GOP platform. Now ? Who the hell knows, besides the underhanded , slimy, and crooked way some are running around trying to protect Trump from something they all claimed he ( Trump ) didn't do, I don't know where they stand . Maybe we should dismantle the two party system and elect independents only . At least we will know that the country won't be run along partisan lines . Regardless of individual ideology all Congress does in this day is vote along party lines. So tired of the whole damn mess called Congress !

  16. Bannon knows that Trump and the people in the collusion meeting will all be executed for treason. He's getting as far away from them as possible. He might have apologized, but he didn't recant.

  17. Incredible! What a bunch of Shameless liars and boasters we have running our government. The Republicans need to stand up to Donald Trump, remove him from office and get on with the business of the country instead of protecting this narcissistic child. And he is not, like, really smart. However however he is the president of the United States and the citizens deserve and demand better all of the Republicans in our government. I am no longer a Republican because of this mess. Sickening.

  18. Bannon is just another one of those famous coffee boys now haha?
    Trumpvoters are spineless cultmembers.
    I love this!

  19. Fuckwit Stone “ Trump the greatest salesman in American history” ? What a joke. Trump = the greatest conman in America history is more accurate.

  20. "Mafia". Putin is connected to Russian's mafia and many assassinations of political opponents. Remember we have collusion, obstruction, money laundering, sex scandals, predator behaviour, corrupted lawyers, tax aversion, conspiracy treasonous actions, corrupted intend, misleading statements, racism and white supremacists, prostitution and sex slavery, illegal arm deals, bankruptcy of casinos. All came out as possible crimes during the course of Trumps political movement. Which is which??? . As non American watching American news networks it's fair to say I m shocked. If the word (drugs) comes out then…….Sorry America

  21. hilarious how americans eat this shit up. steve bannon was america's only hope. trump can't win without him. trump can't win against the lgbtxyz left

  22. that really sucks for Bannon, its one thing to lose your job over a true book…but he has lost his job because of a "fake" book according to the white house..

  23. Bannon is a lying son of a bitch….Trump should never trust him again…not even if he apologizes and grovels on the floor to be back in the Trump camp…he is a modern day Brutus! Never in your life must you place trust on a man that has tried to stab you in the back…

  24. The sources (leak) were setup to remove Bannon as he was in charge of info going in and out. When he left, the leak was stopped as mission was accomplished. Now Bannon has no access to power.

  25. DNC Hilliary Threatened him and his family, that's my take. Otherwise Bannon probably never been fired and didn't know how to handle it.

  26. You silly trumpanzees Nationalists thought Bannon was FOR you? Hahahahahahahaaaa. He's ATTACKING trump! Hahahahahahahahahahahahaaaa! BETRAYAL EVERYWHERE IN THE trump WHITE HOUSE! Hahahahahahaha! Judases around every corner! : ) I am LOVING THIS!

  27. I hate this over preoccupation with PC language! I want to hear the truth in "real" speak than being told "nicely" (pc) that you dont know what the hell you are talking about.

  28. He says that Trump writes everything and is his own man when speaking. Why then does he always put the blame on others. He expects loyalty yet he is loyal to nobody. I think the owner of FOX is pulling the strings. If not then why is it that repeats everything that he watches on Fox. He's someone's puppet.

  29. Stone is a political hit man. cannot be trusted. He trash Bannon hard now thru Trump's order. Trump is Stone's livelihood. Bannon is more of a patriot than Trump. Trump love his corrupt Javanka and himself.

  30. What a total dumb of #uck…Roger Stoner…Trump a farce of nature…yeah…A huge fart is not considered a force of nature…how easy it is to abandon your friends…Bannon and Mueller will be friends soon…hope Stoner is lawyering up…haha

  31. Bannon drank too much. Pres Trump's brother died ultimately due to addictions … probably why our President abstains from alcohol and recreational drugrging, and Bannon's drinking undermined other's confidence in him, his ability to keep confidences, and ultimately, his professional worth.

  32. Bannon was very important….i love Trump but it was shitty move. Bannon is GENIUS nationalist. and doing a great job now in Europe.

  33. I am a very big fan of both. Reminds me of when the greatest band breaks up because of a fight between the lead singer and the lead guitar player. I love them both. If they are against the Left, Godspeed.

  34. This interview is barely over a year old & Roger Stone was arrested this AM by FBI agents. What's done in darkness always gets brought into the light.

  35. PRESIDENT TRUMP IS A HERO FIGHTS DEMONSRAT THE PARTY OF TRAITOR THAT DON'T CARE THE AMERICAN WELFARE NATIONAL SECURITY, ECONOMIC RUIN.

  36. President Hannity. Carlson Hannity you going to jail with your buddy. Paul manafort. President Spanky you idiot you going to jail the big house wants you to come and check out some of the medieval walls

  37. Roger Stone is remarkable, sort off like Trump, never throw in the towel. And he certantly could have. I like Bannon, but here I believe we're talking about ego's.I always find it interesting, how every one now writes books explaining Trump. Personally, I dont even think Trump know, what he will do in given situations, till he comes to specific turns in the road. He seems very liquid as to , adapt, "His favorite Qoute …We will see?" Its to my observations one off the Presidents most powerful points, in that Notting is written in stone so much, that if a situation demands it, he will adjust the out come. So, it makes it harder for others to project and manipulate a situation; and they get fustrated when they think the got control, and it slips right in front off them. Trump, is a brilliant Chess Player. And, firmly do not like others to take credit for his moves. In Chess, you're out, if you attempt that! That simple.🇩🇰🇺🇸 ….spell

They get fustrated…..when they think they got control.

  38. Bannon is almost ult-right neo-conservative, Fire-ban, disconcerted radical. He does tend to be out on a limb most of the time.

  39. People’s loyalty is a thing of the past no one can be trusted any more no , conscience is left ,no respect, no integrity,no truth
