Populism – the Reaction to Failed Elitism in Canada & the West #PPC2019

hey guys it's joe here and i put up a video earlier this morning where i showed the results from my my recent most go at the political compass test and often times i put up videos where i like to leave things open for people to draw their own conclusions and and and you know not not not try to be preachy in my videos sometimes i'm it's missed the mark sometimes i hit it but i thought maybe after some of the comments on that last video it warranted a follow-up video to explain what what my points were in making my earlier video on the political compass and there's a few points the first is to show that the descriptors of left and right just are not adequate in today's environment and if i could boil it down to two opposing forces that best encapsulate modern-day politics in the west is its populism versus elitism and what another point i was trying to make in that video was despite your historic political affiliations or labels with establishment or elitist parties in populism we can all come together with a set of uniting values and if you look into italy what happened there with their last election the they formed a coalition of right wing and left wing parties because they were all on the same page when it came to the populist sentiment and they were pushing back against the elites in italy who they felt had forsaken the the needs and wants of the the common individual so to bring it back here in canada right now this is this situation we face going into the 2019 election where it's very obvious that the elite establishment apparently portrayed by the Liberal Party of Canada has absolutely no regard for Canadians they put all their effort into virtue signaling to the rest of the world and to their favourite collective identity groups as defined and prescribed by them and it seems like Canadians just don't fall into that mix I know Maxine Bernays been asked by a few different groups you know what will you do for Muslim Canadians or what will you do for Chinese Canadians etc etc and he says nothing I am here to work for Canadians not a – eyes i hyphenated identity and not some other arbitrarily defined identity but the People's Party of Canada is a party for the Canadian people and the Liberal Party the Conservative Party and the NDP have become ideological parties and they all fit within the framework of the ideology of the postmodern left where everything is defined by collectivism they don't view us as individuals that's one thing people have to realize the elites do not view us as individuals they view people particularly Canadian citizens as obstacles to implementing their anointed vision which is a global vision in a United Nations vision and the populist movements throughout Europe in the West are are the reaction to that the people who feel as though they have been left aside while the elites pursue their interest and their personal interests and are not working on behalf of the people who they were elected or appointed to serve and advocate for so regardless if you've been a liberal a conservative a New Democrat Green whatever there is room for you in a populist movement like the People's Party of Canada and you know another reason why I wanted folks who tried the political compass was you know maybe there are a lot of folks who don't quite understand the traditional terminology of left/right authoritarian libertarian and it would give them a way of orienting themselves to see where they do fall and not just snatching on to a label because other people around them have grabbed on to it so it's really one to say I hope it clarifies hope this clarifies my earlier video that I put up today and that's not that I want people to divide themselves into arbitrarily labeled camps but it's this that I want people to be honest with themselves about what they value and to see that people with differing opinions can come together for a common purpose and to share common values that we identify that make us Canadian so thanks everyone my name is Joe and I am Canadian

  1. Make Canada Great Again! Stop giving in to Political Incorrectness!! Our kid's future depends on this very issue .Keep pride in our culture Eh?, See this for what it really is. We,the Canadian People are and will continue be the Real victims here , as time will tell ..just look at Europe since their surprise package arrived , being a realist doesn't make you a "Racist "! Peel off those blinders ,,we are dealing with a Traitor , Time For A Change ,,2020 🇨🇦🇨🇦

  2. That Canada (and the world) needs is Nationalism. Love you country and your country men first. Politicians today love money and power and they just work for corporations and the worst part it is the people to get them in power do not do nothing.

  3. Thanks Joe, glad you are better. I am a Member and have been spreading the word about PPC here in Eastern Ontario! I grew up in NS, we are a proud salty group.

  5. That coniferous forest is the perfect setting for a walkabout and parley. It always calms — and I suspect when it warms up a tad it will produce an even more soothing hypnotic effect.

LESSONS LEARNED HERE: Ideological vs. Populist Parties. The Big Top/Wide Umbrella of the populist movement in Canada — but the West. A leader that has finally returned to our late 19th-century roots where the concern of the government was purely for the governed…and the governed in that sense = Canadians.

Thanks for all that you do, Joe!

  6. Yea maxime is gonna be a disappointment like all the others. In an interview he was asked if he heard of the deep state in the U.S. and if he knew about COMER vs Bank of Canada and how this system of banking is what has skyrocketed our debt and he said no. I don't fucking believe that. He's gonna be another snake just you watch.

  7. Thanks Joe…makes sense…I think people are starting to get it. Canada first…the interest of the people as individuals united together for a better Canada…not identity politics

  9. Owen Benjamin did a great little vid for Prager U on why you can’t argue with leftists and it truly comes down to a lack of shared goals. If we have the same goals and values we can disagree on how to get there. But the libs increasingly don’t share Canadian goals and values. They seem hell bent on dictating to us a new pc version of Canadian culture.

  10. do not elect polititions elect honest men of integrity,,FAMILY god fearing decent,MORALS,with a love for their fellow men and women

  11. max bankster globalist just like the rest ,,turd-o,,scheer and max all traitors ,,,max plan B cause they are in trouble

  12. What are the odds…. both Jack Layton and Paul Dewar succumb to strange cancers at a young age… coincidence??

  13. Thanks Joe. That was a well articulated follow-up. You are a positive influence and an example of what a Canadian is. We can only hope that the new people to our country can adapt and adopt our common behaviour, self-image and desire to be good. Max is taking the correct tack for navigating this ridiculous political environment.

  14. I think the best thing I have heard Mr. Bernier say is the words 'personal responsibility' very key to fixing problems facing western nations. there is a lot of reasons to see populism as a solution to many problems the world is faced with , social problems , economic problems , even the environment is best addressed as individual nations taking personal responsibility. globalists know this but are masters of confusion aiming to use confusion to grab more power and more wealth.

  15. Slightly disappointed you weren't slogging through 2ft of snow 🙂 In BC, I know some die hard liberals who've had enough of the turd. I think NDP is done and the PPC stands to gain some serious ground. The CPC should pick up a lot of disaffected 2015 liberal voters. It's going to be interesting!!

  16. It’s such a Robin Hood story, Max the Hood, working for the people and Trudeau is the Sheriff of Knottingham, stealing from the people, robbing our dignity, dividing us and stealing our wealth as they sell us out to our enemies.

  17. = emotion & reason coming face to face * Time to square up – like being cubed } aha moment here !
Thank you for your dedication & efforts here –
MAX seems to resonate with the deeper set of values we have embraced so far ~~~
    Respect – Personal response-ability – Fairness – = Freedom !

  18. So true Joe! That's why my vote is going to Max. No one else represents my views least of all virtual signaling soy boys like JT and Dimples.

  19. Can anyone tell me what is the PPC position on our Aboriginal citizens? If there is a group in Canada that should be treated somewhat differently and apart from the rest of the Canadian population, it is them. You would think Bernier would be for ending the Indian Act and everything that goes along with it, but this is a topic I have never heard him say a word about. He can't exactly duck that "social issue" by saying it is not a federal responsibility, now can he?
