Gaither Vocal Band sings The National Anthem

Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn’s early
light, What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s
last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro’
the perilous fight, O’er the ramparts we watch’d, were so gallantly
streaming? And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting
in air, Gave proof thro’ the night that our flag was
still there. O say, does that star-spangled banner yet
wave O’er the land of the free and the home of
the brave?

  1. Bill: Ok David, I need you to be in your upper register for the duration of these complex harmonies and then blast off into the stratosphere for the last note. Can you handle it?

    David: Got it, boss.

  2. God bless you. May God remove ardent pinko regime from south korea. We are suffering those who are persecuting christian and whole south korean.

  4. Saw a clip of this on Ken Kramer's – About San Diego tonight on KPBS. The story was about Solana Beaches Dr, Ed Siegel trying to get us to sing the Star Spangled Banner in G-Major. The story showed a clip of this YouTube video.

  7. The history of this anthem is that it was written during the War of 1812 when the US and Canada were in hand to hand combat over Canadian land which had been given to us by the Crown. BTW Canada won. We celebrated the 200th anniversary in 2012. So pleased that we are the greatest allies today. God Bless the USA and Canada!!

  8. Does anyone know if there is the sheet music for what they just sang anywhere? I can't seem to find it

  9. I'm from Republic of Korea, and thank you for helping us out of the North Korean threat. God bless United States of America forever. 🙂

  15. OMG goosebumps. It builds and hits those perfect and high notes with precision harmony. Makes you want to stand and place your hand on your heart to show patriotism for our nation!

  16. I think Whitney still has them beat for “Best Rendition Ever, Period”, but they definitely win “Best Recorded Rendition Ever”

  17. Absolutely beautiful Gaither Vocal Band. Yes, you should be singing our National Anthem at every event! God bless.

  18. As a Marine, hearing the national anthem played or sang it brings me a sense of pride of being proud to have served my country. Hearing this awesome rendition not only brings pride but tears as well. Wonderful rendition gentlemen. Perfect Harmony, pitch and definitely loved the bass drop at the end. Well done.

  19. This is the greatest a capella arrangement of the national anthem I have ever heard, sung perfectly by the absolute best 5 gospel singers you can find. Also, David always blows away everything he sings – he is a MONSTER and I love his voice. But poor David at the end there, hitting that impossible C, must have had a long day of recording – he was straining quite a bit to hold that out. You can hear him almost crack off the note if you listen closely. The live recording of this sounds amazing too. This is just the best.

  21. I’ve wanted to be a Bass Singer my whole life. I’m just 19, but I’m only a high Baritone-low tenor. Lord, I pray you’ll bless me with the ability!

  22. Millions and millions of immigrants in your country who want to get citizenship but don't wnat to learn the national anthem of the country who adopted them. Let alone, lives in 🇺🇸 for 40 years but can't speak 1 word of English. I'm not racist, I just think it's wrong to come to a country and doesn't want to assimilate a little bit. 100 years from now.. America might lose its identity and become a non English speaking country because of too many immigrants who are unwilling to learn English or who don't respect the country itself. I'm from the Philippines and my mom is American but I'm not even complaining that my petition takes 25 years before I can go there. Il be dead by that time.

  23. To all the ppl who gave this video thumbs down. Im so sorry for everyone who disliked this video, i feel for you , i cant imagine being tone deaf, not to mention immovable by music. you have no idea what your missing
