  1. I was born and brought up in England. I am half english and half bengali. Having been to almost half of the world and also having toured the whole of the UK, i can safely say that England and the English are the most cultured people in the UK. I am not saying this with any tinge of biasness but it is absolutely true and a fact which majority of the people of Scotland, Wales and Ireland won't accept

  2. English people are an ethnic group defined by their shared ancestry from the Anglo-Saxons and the current ethnic groups migrating to England don't belong there.

  3. I’m no fan of UKIP. What’s made me start referring to myself as English rather than British is nationalism in Scotland and Wales. When you hear a Scottish person disgusted at being referred to as British you start to question the point of the Union.
