Elect Nadia Whittome

I’m Nottingham born-and-bred. I’ve been a
carer here, a law student here, and now a hate crime worker here. I’m an activist.
I’ve been on a zero hours contract myself, I have friends and comrades who
are workers in the gig economy for Deliveroo. We helped organise the Deliveroo
strike which has been hugely successful and during this campaign we’ve mobilised
people from across the labour movement and in the wider community as well, to
create this People’s Plan for Nottingham East that sets out our priorities for
our city. I want a socialist Labour government to connect all these
movements that are changing the world like the Women’s March, like a radical
Green New Deal. And that’s why I’ve supported Jeremy Corbyn from day one. I
know that we can create this irreversible shift in wealth and power
in this country because we’re already doing it from the ground up. I’m fighting
to end austerity and put the working class people of Nottingham in
power. Visit my website and please come to the hustings on 27 October
12 p.m. at the Indian Community Centre and vote for Nadia Whittome. We’re crying
out for real change
