  1. Do you have any idea what is happening to Iranian people? Why do you think we Iranians deserve this goverment. Its sickening see you guys supporting Islamic terror? Why not you come here and join RIGC? WE HATE THIS REGIME AND WE TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY-WHICH IS ILLEGALLY OCCUIPED SINCE 1979. GOD WINS

  2. I think you guys are missing the point. The psycological warfare against Iran is nothing to do with any Al-Qaida connection. Anyone who knows the Middle East would know that's a joke. The U.S. wants to change the regime in Iran because Iran is fighting against the status-quo in the Middle East and the presence of western powers, especially the U.S. The reason it's all coming to a boiling point is that Iran is more powerful than ever, and the U.S. sees Iran as a streategic threat that is on the verge of nueclear breakout. I don't see the U.S. taking any military action any time soon. It's simply not possible with the number of forces the U.S. has in the region. It's much more likely that a war may break out between Iran & Israel in Syria and then the U.S. gets dragged into it.

  3. Well Ben I vehemently disagree with you Assange has done and does journalism. Get off the Russia gate high horse ffs he is a Russian operative .🙄🙄 Assange is human and flawed but thick or thin he is being targeted for being a whistleblower and that is why Manning is in jail because she refuses to help the grand jury on this quest. Everyone was happy to use wikleaks info the NYT, WAPO, Trump campaign. He did not hack he received info from people. Too much into the DNC weeds. PS Moreno is under corruption scandal and his govt just before Assange was dragged out received billions from the IMF and we know that IMF money is not released without the US say so🤔

  4. Why is an investigative journalist who struggles to gather information considered journalism but a large amount of information gathered through hacking is not?

  5. Jullian Assange did nothing wrong. Redacting names was absolutely not helpful. It was important for us to know the names! How else were we to figure out that the government itself was involved.
View on India was quite accurate!

  6. This is not Journalism! Right away this tells me where they stand and confirms these guys are more in tune with corporate media. Naw Julian Assange=journalism you're just in the Washington restarted bubbled there is no proof Assange was working for the Russing that's fucking made up the only proof they had was that he had an intermediary so that's a BS narrative. I'll pass and not subscribe like ever thanks. I'll stick to Kyle Kulinski Humanist Report Jimmy Dore. These guys suck ass lol.

  7. In regard to bit at the end -canada elections—-alberta just elected and right wing, climate denying bigot. Also known as Jason Kenney.
After the 2015 election campaign, right wing political operatives filed bogus complaints with Elections Canada, falsely accusing groups of breaking the rules, which were found to be bogus after an investigation, And Kenney now is going to launch a taxpayer-funded legal assault on Leadnow, & others who opposes his far-right, toxic oil agenda. He specifically mentioned this in his victory speech.
    Here's a bit:
*And now I have a message to those foreign funded special interests who have been leading a campaign of economic sabotage against this great province.
To the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, the Tides Foundation, Lead Now, the David Suziki Foundation and all of the others:
Your days of pushing around Albertans with impunity just ended.
We Albertans are patient and fair minded, but we have had enough of your campaign of defamation and double standards.
Today, we begin to stand up for ourselves, for our jobs, for our future.
Today we begin to fight back.
From this point forward, when you lie about how we produce energy, we will tell the truth assertively, and we will use every means at our disposal to hold you to account.
When multinational companies like HSBC boycott Alberta, we’ll boycott them.
We will launch a public enquiry into the foreign source of funds behind the campaign to landlock Alberta energy.*

And relatives keep asking me why i don't and won't move to the 3rd rate Kansas City (calgary)…
Oh yes, and with the supposed progressive liberals …
I'm working toward becoming a misanthrope.

  8. Just wanted to say that I was really impressed with your interview with Matt Farwell. Aside from learning more about the Bergdahl situation, it made me realize how little I hear from vets and their families in my news diet. Thanks, and keep up the great work!

  9. "Knowledge has always flowed upwards to bishops and kings, not down to serfs and slaves" -Julian Assange

By reading Wikileaks I have learned how human institutions actually behave. For the first time I feel like I understand the nature of power. Due to the bravery of Wikileaks and the sacrifice of Julian Assange and whistle-blowers such as Chelsea Manning, I have furthered my understanding of the civilization that we actually have. WikiLeaks alone has has revealed some hard truths about the Iraq and Afghan wars and broken stories about corporate corruption. To keep a person ignorant is to place them in a cage. Wikileaks is a mechanism to maximize the flow of information to maximize the amount of action leading to just reform. The indictment of Assange poses serious threats to press freedom.

  10. Note to Ben: Calling a gay man "non-threatening," as you did in Concord 15 April, is homophobic. (Think it through, or ask Lovett to explain.) Greatly admire you, otherwise.

  11. I believe in the beginning, Assange's actions were the same as The NYTIMES editors…. yet they did nothing to any NYTIMES employee. They all leaked the same information. That said, Assange's more recent actions have been against the U.S..

  12. Pod Save what the FUCK? it's not just "hacked information" – it's information relating to how the US was committing war crimes.
