  1. Could not the "international global solidarities among working people" eventually arise as a function of social media interaction? It may require decades, but as the dichotomy between rich and poor increases (Piketty), awareness of the insufficiencies of nationalist and putatively populist-driven governments may increase, at which time a synchronized international movement could – could – be one reaction (psychological) to fear of capital flight. (So the answer to the issue of whether or not "this could be taken as a serious possibility" [5:47] is: the Internet.) One can wonder, too, if authoritarian pathology would diminish accordingly.
